A restored Harmony H162 (number are better than original factory spec.) Neck has been reset without event. Sound hole braces have been added for top stabilization. New tuners new pins. Frets crowned and polished. Action B 4/64, T 4/64. Relief .009

While there are a couple bumps and bruise on this 60 year old guitar, this is an extremely clean version of this guitar. The spruce top is tight grained and the solid mahogany back is extremely nice.

Solid Mahogany back and sides extremely nice tight grain top. Brazilian rosewood fret board and bridge. Warm truncated tone that only a stabilized ladder brace guitar offer.

These guitars have a warm tone that fits an important playing and recording niche. These guitars are the most cost effective way to add a solid mahogany spruce top ladder brace tone to a mix.

If you’re interested in the addition of a pickup our guitar tech can make that happen.

We would argue given the tone, condition and materials used, that a properly restored H162 or H165 (name plate aside) are a bargain when compared to similarly priced instrument.

Many of theses woods, at this quality are simply no longer available. US made, 60 year old woods and just fun to play.
