A Japanese made 1986 Contemporary E series telecaster. It is configured as a “super-tele” and is an all around workhorse. It has a HSS pickup configuration where the humbuckers can be coil split. From the owners collection it was used to get Kieth Richard’s Rolling Stones tone. The guitar is frost white. It has a Kahler Fulcrum Tremolo and locking nut.
This guitar is clean in excellent condition but has a small nick shown in one of the images.
This guitar was produced at the time when fender USA was just reemerging and fighting for its existence. During that period the Japanese guitars were made better than their US counterparts and this guitar is no exception.
