For your consideration a 1960s National Violin Bass.  Someone came to us with an old family bass, the request, “make it playable…”. The bass came in a little rough, from years of closet life, but the body wasn’t damaged and the parts were there.  A gem in the rough.  One of the group of Beatles (McCarthy) inspired bass clones. 
We cleaned and reworked the electronics and these function as they should .  We pulled most of the screws that hold the plastics added new seats as needed and replaced the screws. Cleaned the years away from the body and it came up with a warm sunburst.  The frets were polished and the fret board was revitalized.  It has its original case. 
It was set/up and is ready to do a version of Come Together….
