For your consideration a Gibson GA-5 "Les Paul Jr" 1955. When the student guitar of the same name was introduced, Gibson needed an amp for co-marketing. Gibson GA-5 "Les Paul Jr" 1955 was born. This amplifier differs by a single resistor at the imput jack from a Fender Champ of the period, Whatever a period champ can do so can the GA-5.

The amp is cosmetically original but has had filter and other electrolytic cap and resistor replacements. For a 70 year old amp , this should be seen as standard and expect maintenance to keep this gem tuned and operational. A grounded three pronge plug has been wired. The speaker and transformers are original. If you own a vintage Les Paul Jr, it should be coupled to its amp name sake. This amp is fully functional and fun to mic up.
