For your consideration a Heritage H204 from 1987. Heritage, at the time, was yet to truly establish its product line even thought it was manned and owned by former Gibson employees and housed at the old Gibson factory.

The H204 was a realatively short lived model and is rather rare. It is sought after by heritage collectors. It truly reflects the 1980s being part Les Paul, part super Strat/Tele. Single coils in the neck and middle positions and humbuckers in the bridge with a coil split and toggles. Set neck and a great sunburst finish over highly figured quilted maple.

Interestingly, the guitar incorporated several features that help set Heritage on its amazing, now 40+ year journey. Top quality wood selections, the incredible lacquer finish, the drop in tail piece and roller bridge. The later two leading to tuning stability and quick efficient string changes.

Whether you are a collector or player, this is a cool guitar that reflect a snap shot in time but plays to a modern standard. The guitar sounds and plays amazing. It rivals any of the so-called super Strats of the period.
