Early 1980s Kawai f2b bass.  Cleaned up and fully functional.  With the exception of knobs and a jack replacement all original hardware.  
The bass, an Alembic clone, is walnut and maple.  We would be asking substantial more for this instrument if the walnut  hadn’t faded.  From a playing perspective this bass is fully functional with the diversity of sound that made then extremely popular.  The through neck construction serves the tone well.  
The fret board was resurfaced and the frets crowned and polished.  The battery connections were replaced as was the jack, but this is routine maintenance on theses instruments.   The active electronics are fully functional.
